ZEUS

Zeus and the Herd is a set of dining chairs, belonging to my "Imagined Creatures" series, and comprises Zeus - as a hybrid bull/lightning-bolt - and a herd of cattle.

The cattle are all set in subtly different poses - taking advantage of the possibility, in digital sand-printing, to create unique sand moulds for metal casting.

Each cow and bull is upholstered in wet-moulded leather - executed by Anthony Vrhimis Studio, and assembled with one articulated joint between fore- and hind-legs.
