FIRE CANOPY

I was invited to refine and manufacture this suspended fire canopy for a prestigious residential fit-out by main contractor Knight Harwood, after their nominated metalwork contractor had failed to produce a satisfactory solution to SHH Architects design brief.

I worked with specialist coachbuilders DMark Concepts to devise a seamless double-wall elliptical bell form in 2-3mm aluminium alloy, overseeing the project from technical design through to on-site installation - where, because of it's late commissioning, fixing took place after all other internal finishes were completed.
