ENAMELLED STOVE

I undertook the restoration of this antique wood-burning stove for the refit of an historic ocean-going yacht being undertaken by Royal Huisman Shipyard in the Netherlands.

The work involved stripping the entire stove back to bare metal and re-finishing in a custom colour vitreous-enamel.

Hinge and handle fixtures were polished and re-plated; and the ceramic handles were replaced with colour-matched vitreous-enamel iron replicas on thermally-insulated mounts.
